Executive Director - David Stoltenberg

As the Executive Director of the Montana Business Incubator, David Stoltenberg is responsible for the overall functioning and success of the program.

David brings over 18 years experience in a variety of technical business positions ranging from sales and marketing to business development to technical product development to operations management as his contribution to the Incubator. This combination of skills and expertise enable David to deliver a high quality of technical and business counseling services to Montana Business Incubator clients and other companies in Billings and Eastern Montana. He prides himself on a versatile ability to bring business and professional skills to bear upon many disparate technical and scientific endeavors.

David has been a science and technology buff since he was a young man growing up in Billings, and is committed to the success of Montana innovators and entrepreneurs.

David began his professional career as an Archaeologist, earning a BS in Anthropology from Montana State University - Bozeman. After leaving the field and completing a stint as a regional sales manager for a fortune 500 company, he returned to school at the University of Wyoming and acquired a technical knowledge of Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on biological systems.

David's career experience includes service as a successful sales manager for a fortune 500 company, building a $3 million yearly business. As a sole proprietorship consultant David worked as a technical-environmental consultant in the area of large scale litigation, managing teams of scientists and engineers focused upon a variety of industrial waste process and waste management issues. Under his management and direction, research teams enabled attorney clients to successfully pursue their litigation objectives by the delivery of accurate scientific and technical information delivered in a regulatory context. Recently employed over five years as the operations manager of a Billings based software company offering products and services to the Geographic Information Systems industry, David was responsible for a staff of approximately 35 professionals and yearly revenues of several million dollars.

David returned to Billings in 1993 and resides here with his two talented daughters. His hobbies include science and technology, and he is an avid mountain biker.


Office Manager and Services Coordinator - Donnetta Graham

As the Office Manager of the Montana Business Incubator, Donnetta Graham is responsible for operational details of the incubator as well as coordinating the delivery of client services. She joined the staff in November 2001, and immediately got to work setting up a strong financial management program and an office environment conducive to successful business entrepreneurship. Donnetta brings to the MBI many years experience in the management of administrative and retail staff personnel in addition to her expertise in accounting and financial management.

Donnetta’s management and technical skills were honed by eleven years as a retail products manager for a nationwide electronics and computer retailer. She was responsible for managing employees in various customer service and technical support positions.

Prior to joining The Montana Business Incubator, she worked as an accountant at a commercial diving company for several years, in charge of general ledger bookkeeping and payroll. Her duties included auditing all company expenses, project financial management, and administrative leadership roles. Donnetta was responsible for the development and implementation of many time and money saving strategies.

She resides in Billings with her husband Don, and they enjoy camping and fishing in their spare time.
